Peace

Marcy from Blessings Each Day has shared the Good Word that tomorrow (October 18th) is Pray-For-Peace day...

So, in that vein, I'd like to encourage everyone (be they Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, agnostic, garden-variety-pagan...or something heretofore unmentioned....) to PRAY.

Just PRAY. For peace.

Because I believe God hears our prayers.

So, let's all pray for this broken, sad, twisted world which we call home (at least temporarily), that God might incline men's (and women's) hearts towards PEACE... and that we might live in a more peacable state, one with another.

Would you pray with me?

Yes, I join you in prayers for peace - within us and around us - as I think it begins within. Bless you!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Thank you for posting this. A great reminder for all. Praying for peace every day. I do believe that God hears us.

Now, can I just say that tonight I'm also praying that Da Bears will kick some Falcons *$$??!!!!

Sorry. Couldn't help myself.

Amen.

Ok, I think God got mad at me for praying for an *$$ kickin' instead of being peaceful. Serves me right.

:-( :-( :-(

Yes, KBL, CLEARLY God is upset with you for praying against the Falcons.

KIDDING. :)

This was simply a case of that (cute) Matt Ryan being a Superior Quarterback. (Ah, we Atlantans are still SO Darn HAPPY to have a nice, clean-cut Quarterback who doesn't FIGHT DOGS for fun....)
