My Secret to Peace

Know What's Weird?

My new job pays FAR less than what I was used to making (about 20 - 25% less), plus it's a LONG drive from home, AND my "time freedom" during the week is all but GONE.... but I am so CONTENT now.

I truly, truly am.
And it's a beautiful thing.

I've decided to focus on GRATITUDE and it has really made just a HUGE difference for me.

Sure, there's stuff I still want, but when I start the day by thanking the Father for all the stuff I already have, and focusing on my blessings rather than my wants, it's amazing how that "re-centers" me, and what a BIG difference that makes.
It's HUGE in fact.

And it's a good GOOD thing.
I heartily recommend it.

I hope you get to a place of contentment and a bit more leisure too one day, for you deserve it.
Hugs to you.
Happy Fathers day to the Hubster!!!

I really think that this attitude makes all the difference in the world. There will always be SOMETHING we don't have and we want, so we have to focus on being thankful for what we do have. We have SO much!

it's just the best feeling to want what you have instead of the other way around. really miss seeing you more often but love catching up. xoxo.

Awww, I love reading this. It makes me so happy for you, because after all, you ARE Happy Wife! :-) In our modern times it is sooo hard to reach that inner peace, and you're having found it at your level is so wonderful. Yay for YOU!

Hope you had a great weekend my little bloggin' buddy. Hugs from Sandy Eggo!

Hi HW, I was just checking on you to see how you are doing and how the new job is. Looks like you have the right attitude. There are so many people without jobs at all now---so I guess that does make you feel a little better. Hang in there and give it your all... You will be rewarded.

Hugs,
Betsy
