Today is my Daddy's 79th birthday. 79!! Isn't that great?!
Below are some photos from tonight. We had a great dinner over at his house, despite the fact that Atlanta was under tornado watches/warnings all evening, and we could HEAR the hailstones as we were dining. :)
Other than that, it was a lovely evening!
Enjoy the photos!

I can NOT believe your dad is 79!! He looks amazing! My daddy will be 66 tomorrow :) Happy birthday to our daddies!
And happy bday to your daddy too! I can't believe he's 79 either! (And neither can he!) Really, up until he was 70 people thought he was in his 50's. He has a GREAT, young-at-heart attitude. :)
Oh happy bday to your YOUNG padre!!! So glad you shared the photos...you all look so great. The picture of you and your dad NOT smiling, still cute, but even better is the weather advisory in the background...not exactly smiling weather. ;0
Hugs,

Hi HW, Happy Birthday to your sweet Daddy... He looks young for his age. (Hope I can say that when I'm 79!)
I love seeing the entire family. What a neat group..... Your kids are gorgeous, you look fabulous---and Hubby is a cutie too.... ALL of you are!!!!
Happy Easter.
Hugs,
Betsy
Happy Birthday to your daddy! He is SO handsome. ;-) Oh, and I like the red Doppler radar on the TV in the background. What weather!
happy birthday to your dad, the pictures are great, it looks like a great evening, you all look well....
Your dad looks awesome for 79! I sure hope I look that young at that age, that is my goal. Wonderful pictures, I just love seeing the smiles on all of you!
Happy Birthday to you dad!
Hugs♥
Great pics, girl, your dad looks great!
HWHL, you're beautiful! Happy birthday to your Dad!!
Bwah haha! I didn't notice this last night, but today I clicked on the photos to enlarge them, and I LOVE that your dad is putting up devil horns behind your son! Too funny! :)
Happy Birthday to your Dad! Great pictures!! My Dad's was the day before (9th) and he was 71. Can you say YEAH for longevity for both of us!! I made a very fattening and yummy dinner (chicken puff pastry shells). They were soooooo good!!! My hubby was in charge of taking pictures and well to put it frankly, he sucks at picture taking. Not a one is remotely clear or even near decent to post on my blog.
I love that your Dad is goofing on your son with the devil sign behind his head!!! So funny. Even funnier is that your daughter didn't say "say cheese" so you didn't smile. Still a great shot!!
Hope your weather got better. It's raining here but there aren't any tornado watches.
Much love from NJ,
Sue

So nice to see recent photos!
beautiful. you're so lucky that your dad is alive and healthy. my friend just found out her dad has terminal cancer and only a couple of months left to live. I have a hard time dealing with this as her dad is the same age as my dad. Life is precious and fragile. I keep getting reminded of this. these dinners and birthdays seem so small in the grand scheme of things, but they are really so big and important and beautiful and wonderful.
And friend, you always do a fabulous job of reminding us all of the b eauties of life! Thank you!
D'Arcy,
Yes, life is very precious.
You know, when I had that dream about heaven a couple of weeks ago (it's in my blog if you haven't read it), I wondered why I had been "given" that dream.... after all, I almost NEVER remember my dreams.
Life is fleeting and we will all eventually lose the people we love. It's part of life, which is why it's so important to treasure the moments we do have, just like you said!
So true, so true!
Happy Birthday to your Dad! He looks wonderful.
Blessed Easter to you and the family (and what a lovely family it is!). Sweet pictures of all of you.
Happy Birthday to Dad. I love your top! xoxo
Thanks Laurie! I went to a mall nearby that caters to the Asian community and bought it in an Indo-Pak clothing store for $15. A good deal!
