Richie Cunningham Has Spoken!

As a child of the 70's (and a teen of the 80's) I am fond of Ron Howard, and the characters in the shows he acted in.

So, as you can imagine, this video turned my head. I only saw a small clip of it on TV earlier today but watched the whole thing on YouTube earlier this evening. I liked what he had to say.

You may agree with him (like I do), or you may completely disagree - either way is certainly fine. Here's the video.

:) as you can well imagine, i certainly agree with ron there at the end where he said that folks should register and then vote and vote with their hearts and minds and american spirit. but that's about all i can agree with him on - he's dead wrong about the rest.

cute vid tho - - was nice seeing opie fishing with andy and the fonz again....shame about the typical hollywood liberal politics...

Man, it says it's no longer available! I'll have to try and find it somewhere else on youtube!

I love Richie!

D'Arcy - that's so weird that it disappeared - should still be out there "somewhere"... just search on Ron Howard Obama endorsement or something like that.... it's definitely worth watching.

I saw this the other day and think it's clever and relevant. What's especially interesting is that Ron Howard has long resisted reprising those roles in any sort of get together or in filming or anything. He simply didn't want to do it. But for Obama, he did it. That's telling.
