Nyquil How I Love Thee..... Let Me Count the Ways....

Update: Well, THAT didn't take long.... off to bed! Nightie night!

Yes, it's time YET AGAIN for my Christmas cold.

Luckily, this year it descended in mid December. For that, I am happy. Nothing worse than being SICK on Christmas morning when your kids come BOUNDING IN at 6 AM (and yes, even though they are 11 and 12, they STILL get up at the crack of dawn....)

So, I have just poured myself the requisite shotglass of Nyquil, cheered myself in the bathroom mirror. and am waiting for that lovely-sleepy-warm-blanket feeling to envelop me.... and then I'll drop into bed for a lovely, semi-drugged night of sleep.

(It's funny because I rarely DRINK - even socially - but when a cold comes into town, there is NOTHING.... and I mean NOTHING... better than Nyquil....)

Oh sweetie, that's not fun having to be sick with a cold. Bleeecccch... I haven't taken Nyquil before or any cold tablets because it mixes with my siezure drugs which really sucks because when I get a cold, sheesh, I have to fight it with nothing at all but OJ and bed rest.
I hope you get better soon.

I want to thank you soooo much for the prayers and support and all the wonderful love you gave me while I was so sick in the last few weeks. It meant so much to the both of us. You are an incredible person...
just know how much it meant to me, ok?

Are you feeling better? I hope so!

I love NyQuil, but note to anyone who takes it while pregnant....DON'T. My mom did in the early 80s for the flu and she miscarried. It was awful.

Not trying to be a downer...sorry! Just wanted to let ya'll know.

Hey, I'm working on my "how I met Ed" post, just like you ordered me to ma'am! Should be up by this weekend!

Michele,
You are a sweetheart, my purple butterfly friend! You take care of yourself, my dear... rest, sleep, and don't worry about a thing. You have a fabulous husband who loves you SO VERY much! :-)

KBL - thanks for the words of wisdom! I am not pregnant, but when I was I never took ANYTHING! And I am excited to read about your Belov-Ed post! Hooray! The cold is making my brain feel like MUSH, so I will probably do my post on Hubster tomorrow..... I want it to be GOOD, so I will wait until my brain is back to 100%!
