The Old "Bob and Weave"
Everyone by now has seen this video.
The things that amazed me the most about this video are:
1) President Bush has incredibly quick reflexes (I think if it would have been ME, I would've gotten clocked in the head - probably twice - by the flying shoes).
2) Were the Secret Service fellas asleep at the switch? Did you see how S-L-O-W those guys moved? Hmmm... this really concerns me, esp with President Obama coming on board in just a month. I think they should all report back to H.R. for some "refresher training" prior to next month's inauguration.

Yeah, GW was quick on his feet...and the paid guys are slow....best get some training. I fear for Obama. I hope no one gets stupid and tries to hurt him. Such a crazy world still....
I am worried for Obama too, Suz. There are still a LOT of rednecks out there, and they want to do him harm. I'm hopeful the Secret Service won't have the donut-eating clowns from this video clip watching Obama. These guys moved WAY too slow. (Heck, if they can't deflect a pair of "size 10 shoes", they would fail miserably with some SERIOUS ammo.)

It is probably actually a good sign that it was only a shoe the guy could hurl, meaning the people in that room would have been properly vetted before being let in. A shoe is a bit embarrassing but not life threatening. I am sure it will be a wake up call for the future. Happy Holidays and my best wishes for a Blessed Christmas.
