Quite possibly because my 11 year old daughter was a Daisy, then a Brownie, then a Girl Scout (5 years total in Scouting), I am literally unable to say "no" when scouts come to my door to sell cookies...
And the first of MANY deliveries arrived today!
My two favorite flavors - Thin Mints and Do-Si-Dos - have already been opened and are being happily consumed by mi familia...
So, what are YOUR favorite GS cookie flavors??

Hands down - Samoas!!! I can polish off a box in about 10 minutes :( I actually found a recipe online for homemade Samoas, but I haven't tried it yet. I can't imagine it'll be as good as the real thing...
ChiTown,
I used to work with a guy - actually he was the CFO of my company - who was ADDICTED to Samoas. When my daughter was a Girl Scout, he was my BIGGEST customer. He would literally eat one box at a sitting and then come to me the next day and say (almost with the DT's) "When can I get another box"... he really was a sugar addict. It was cute. :)
I still have Samoas in my deep freeze from last year, believe it or not! If you lived closer, I'd say "c'mon over, girl - you can have 'em!" :)
SAMOAS-SAMOAS-SAMOAS! and Thin Mints. Oh, I forgot about freezing them; I can buy more...watch out for the Samoa addiction. We just bought a box yesterday, and they are going fast.
Thin mints and tagalongs do the trick for me. I can't say no to a girl scout selling cookies either. Neither can my hubby. Every year we both come home with boxes and boxes. It's so funny. We freeze some of them but they don't last for too long. One of us is always snarfing them out!
Much love from NJ,

Karen & Sue,
I'm a BIG sucker for the Thin Mints. I put them in the freezer so they are cold, crunchy and sweet.... and I have them with a big glass of milk.
Dee-lish! :)
peanut butter!!!!! luv em!!!
Don,
Sadly, my kids said "Can we eat these peanut butter ones? Will we get e-coli?" I assured them that the GS peanut butter varieties (both Do-Si-Do's AND Tagalongs) are SAFE! Whew!
ha. after all the years of me selling them and containing hundreds of boxes in my house..I can finally NOT eat a box at one sitting. ;)
we have only eaten one box of tags this year (coach and I) Lindsay bought her own box of mints and Lo did not cough up any money this year.
we are still selling...do you want more??
Suz,
We have about a dozen boxes coming.... so I think I will pass on ordering more. But thanks for the offer, my dear. :)
i don't think anyone should say no to a girl scout!! that's my philosophy!! i will buy at least one box from any girl who asks me... note i said girl... not girl's mom!! we have sold so many over the years... between my daughter & i (when i was little!) and i have enjoyed sitting with suz while our girls were selling away! my favorite? the all about... except that it is gone!!! we had a new dulce de leche flavor that was pretty good- but nothing compares to shortbread and chocolate...
I just got mine this moment! I get thin mints and samoas. But maybe I shoulod branch out, I haven't even heard of a Do Si Do
Samoas, straight from the freezer.
