Peter Frampton, I'll Always Love You.

The very first album I EVER bought, way back in the fourth grade (I saved up my allowance for what seemed like forever) was "Frampton Comes Alive".

Do y'all remember that one? Yep, that's the one. Double live album. It ROCKED.
Way back in ... 1977, I believe.

I still have it. But I've long since "upgraded" to CD, of course. And I STILL listen to it.
And I STILL love Peter Frampton's music.

He's still "got it", as far as I'm concerned. :)
So, Peter, if you're out there, I'll always hold a torch for you.

So get out your lighters and let's sway along to the fine, fine music of the golden boy of rock & roll, Mr. Peter Frampton!

Funny, I was never into rock & roll in my teens...always the alternative I suppose. Duran Duran, adam ant.....
But I DO appreciate Some Framton. That song in particular is awesome!!!!

That's neat HappyWife.... We all have 'idols' from our past that we STILL love. Since I am MUCH older, I grew up with Johnny Mathis as one of my vocal heroes. The last time I heard him sing, he wasn't nearly as 'strong' as he used to be--but I still liked him.

Hope you have had a great day.

Only problem is I don't partake in the stuff I used my lighter for when I saw Frampton in concert in 1975. I still possess the vinyl somewhere.

This is so funny! And very telling about you, don't you think? Did you really think he was hot? Hmmm?

Rebeckah - YES I thought he was hot! Still do! And I loved his music then - and I love his music NOW! :)

Cliff - the reference to a lighter was tongue-in-cheek.... I don't have a lighter either. (Other than that long thing I use to start the grill wtih!) :)

Always good, although like Suz I was into Duran Duran etc. I wonder if his grandkids call him Frampa.

Did you know he now lives just outside Cincinnati? How bout that.... little bit of PF trivia for you.

Very cute! I don't know if he has grandkids - but that's a good question!

My sister had this album and I do remember it. She's 7 years older so I got to listen to the cool stuff at a VERY young age. Great memories with great music.
