The Thrill of Goodwill

I have been looking for a cute dark red leather handbag for aeons now. AEONS. Do you know how MUCH major retailers WANT for cute dark red leather handbags?? It's ridiculous... Do you know how much even normally REASONABLE stores (ie Marshalls, Ross, etc.) want for cute dark red leather handbags?? Again, ridiculous.

So, imagine my ABSOLUTE and utter delight (DELIGHT, I say!) when I found this little barely used GEM at my local Goodwill store today.

Want to know the price?

Really?

Two dollars and sixty cents. YES! Can you believe it?!

I can't even get LUNCH for $2.60 and I get this very cute (designer name) handbag, which was EXACTLY what I was looking for.

I am so psyched.

It's the little things in life, isn't it???

I LOVE it : )! What designer name is it? $2.60? CRAZY wonderful! Doesn't God always do great things for us like that! Little things that mean so much! Hope you ROCK out with your cool red purse this week!

Great find, Happy Wife!

Growing up, my family never used to cut coupons, go to thrift stores, or do rummage sales.

I am coming around on these however (Jan's always done them.) Some really good bargains and during tight times, who besides corporate executives can afford retail?

Rebeckah - it's XOXO - I found a similar one online for $72.
Woo hoo! I'm high-fiving myself!

Deron, yes we women LOVE to get deals! That's the whole FUN of shopping! It's like a game to us!

It's darling, and I LOVE that you got this great deal at Goodwill. They are a wonderful group. (Did you know that Katie left half of her savings account to Goodwill? I wrote about it on my blog last year in Sept.)
Hooray for a good bargain, especially one that does good things for others!
