But boy, this match was a real bruiser to get finalized. Lots of back and forth, lots of negotiation.
Some big egos in the way, too.
I really did not think it was going to go through. But finally (at the 11th hour.... actually at the 11:59th hour), it did.
Still waiting for all the formalities, but it's a done deal.
I'm relieved.
And now I'm going to have a glass of wine and spend some Quality Time with Hubster....

Congratulations and "Good On Ya, Matey!" It's so nice when you can help people achieve a win-win situation. That sounds like a good business for you. God bless you.
Thanks Karen - I really do love it when I help someone find a new (and better) job and, conversely, when I can help a client find a really good, new employee. It's a great feeling. And then when I get paid - that's an added bonus!
So wonderful. No one deserves it more!!!!
Suz, you're so sweet.... always my cheerleader. I could announce that I had successfully unloaded the dishwasher and you'd be like "Hooray!" :-)
Love you, girlfriend! :-)
so does that mean you're one of those headhunter types?
congrats! hope it continues......
Don,
Yes I am a headhunter.... I'm one of the "good" ones though. Meaning: I've worked (for 15 years) in the industry I "headhunt" in. Also, I am very ethical in how I do business. (So, I tend to work longer hours, and make less money, than my competitors....) But really, I love it. There's nothing like helping someone find a great job, or helping a company find a great employee... it's a great feeling.
And being my own boss is SWEET beyond words. :-)
you go girl!!
NICE!
