Less Is More!!

I mistakenly thought my daughter was ready for some "light" perfume for her 11th birthday, so one of the presents I got her was Moonlight Path spritz at Bath & Body Works.

Oh my.

Our house smells like a bordello now (not really, but you know what I'm saying....)

Earlier today it was almost hard to breathe.... she even uses it as "room freshener" and runs about spraying it on her stuffed animals and on her comforter. :-)

My rallying cry now is: LESS IS MORE, my darling. LESS IS MORE.

That is so funny.. my daughter does the same thing and yes it about chokes me and my asthma lungs out of the house! I guess the air freshener 'thing' is just something they all go thru. :p

Yes, this is something that they have to figure out and she will.
The girls did this too, and I tell them the same thing...LESS IS MORE.
They gym teacher at the middle school made a remark about this too saying the boys locker room stinks to high heaven and the girls locker room smells like Dillards. :)

I understand through your buddy BuzyBeeSuz that you are an ardent Dave Ramsey fan, but I don't see "The Total Money Makeover" among your list of favorite books. We just got him back on the air in my neck of the woods, but he is in my mp3 player quite often thanks to iTunes.

Suz was responding to a post I wrote at my WIXY blog yesterday about Dave.

And I can't help you out with your other problem, as I don't know what a bordello smells like.

Cliff,
You are RIGHT! I need to remedy that oversight immediately and put TMMO on my list of favorites...

And, for the record, I've never set foot in a bordello either. Suz put it much better when she said "it smells like Dillards".

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you make it a regular stop. I do like your list of favorite books. If you have time, check out The Encore Effect, by Mark Sanborn.

I know what Dillards smells like. I've been there, usually entering the mall on my way to the food court.

I stupidly did this when mine were 4 and 6. Glad to be warned to not try it again at 11!
