Doggie Davenport, or Canine Couch?

Can't decide what to call this bed now.....

These photos were taken yesterday in our guest room (a/k/a my home office.... where I do my work, and also type all my blogs... and sip cocktails, and think profound thoughts...)
;-)

Anyway. This bed used to be our guest bed.... but, as you can see, it has been seized by the dogs for a "higher purpose". And I doubt any humans will ever want to sleep on it again.

Seriously, though, it has been years since anyone ever slept here anyway.... the mattress was a garage sale purchase, years ago, and cleverly covered by a pretty quilt.... yet the mattress was so lumpy and so springy that it made for a HORRIBLE night's sleep.
So, as far as I'm concerned, the pups can have at it.

So, blogger buddies, what is the general concensus for a new name for this piece of furniture?
Shall we call it.....

  • Doggie Davenport?

  • Canine Couch?

  • Labrador Lounge?

I like the Doggie Davenport.

Wow, Diva is getting so big!! That last photo, where she is behind your big dog (forgot her name, sorry!) is priceless. I love her little ears so sprightly!!

Sipping cocktails while blogging...why haven't I thought of this before? I bet my posts would be very British and clever ( I seem to get accents the more I drink).

Hey D'Arce! :-)
Yes, Ruby is our other dog.... she's got some Lab in her, and probably some sort of Spaniel.... so that makes her a (drum roll please....) "Spanador". (That's really the official name, I didn't just make that up.)

Yes, I have my gin & tonics up here.... although I'm not much of a drinker, it definitely takes the "edge" of financial worries, I have found. ;-)

When do you have to be back in the classroom?

I really like that color blue in your lab lounge.

Maybe I'll paint my office that color.

My goodness how your new dog has grown! I did a double take when I saw these pics.

Right now, I'm sipping tapwater. But sometimes I go so far as to sip green tea! (Of course, in the mornings, it's always strong coffee.)
