A Sing-Along for the 4th of July!!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
I thought I'd put up a CLASSIC "Schoolhouse Rock" video from the 70's.
Do y'all remember this one? :-)
I can STILL sing the preamble to the Constitution, thanks to this video that aired during Saturday morning cartoons when I was a kid!

C'mon now... click on the below and SING ALONG (I know you want to!)
:-)

And have a WONDERFUL, safe 4th of July!

Great vid!
My wife wants to get the whole series for the boys. My niece watches them all the time on DVD.

Jason, as himself said...

I have all of these Schoolhouse Rocks. They are brilliant!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE SCHOOL HOUSE ROCK! I learned SO much through those nifty little songs. My favorite was probably Conjuction Junction... what's your function? Or... I'm just a bill, yes I'm only a bill. And I'm sitting here on Capitol Hill. Well it's a long long way...

Okay, that's enough singing. Thanks for the video!

That ARE brilliant, aren't they?
I remember very clearly in the 5th grade, my teacher (Mrs. Baker) telling the class that we were going to have to memorize the preamble to the Constitution and then how SHOCKED she was when we told her (pretty much in unison) that we all already knew it.
Of course, she didn't believe us so we all stood up and SANG it for her. I think she cried Tears Of Joy on that day. :-)

Sugar,
What about "Lolly lolly lolly, get your adverbs here..." that one has always stuck in my head too.

But yes I LOVE Conjunction Junction. (I love them all... really wish they were STILL on TV so this generation of kids would get them in THEIR brains too!!)
