I discovered THIS little project late today. Nice, huh? (Feel free to click on the photo ... it should magnify so you can imagine what my face must have looked like when I beheld this HORROR ...)
Anyway.... Diva has been quietly "excavating" out in the backyard this afternoon.... in the space between one of the A/C units and the house. And, of course, due to the recent rains, the ground is super saturated back there and she was able to make a LOVELY mud bath, which she proceeded to roll ALL around in, then she came in the house, and jumped on the couch and then, ran up to our room and jumped on our nice clean bed because, of course, that's where she SLEEPS.
Mud everywhere.
I'm thrilled.NOT.
Anyone want to adopt a cowering, mud-covered, Chocolate Lab who is currently in the "dog house"???

At first glance, I thought she chewed through some wires....and turned off the A/C.
Mud, that is good for them right? Good for the coat? ;)
good luck cleaning up all that.....oh the joys of puppyhood.
The wires are all helter skelter... not sure what's up with that. She probably chewed those as well. However, the AC is working (thank God!)
She has had a bath this evening (and THAT was a battle, let me tell you - but I won - because I outweigh her - although she is STRONG...) :-)
Man!!! I keep vacillating too! I read your blog one day and I think....ok, maybe I can get a dog...
Then I come back and I think...HELL NO!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!!
I'll take the plunge one day, but man, that Diva girl. What a pup.
I love popping over to your blog and hearing Regina Spektor! Yes!!
Wow! I really don't envy puppyhood right now!
