So very sad to hear about Bernie Mac's passing. I loved his sense of humor, and I hate the fact that he passed away at such a young age.
Life is such a precious gift.
Remember to enjoy life every single day.
The future is not promised to any of us.

This made me sad, too. Ever since Prince Charming and I learned of his illness we have been saddened because we love him so much, but have enjoyed him anyway. He will always be in our hearts (and our DVD player!)
Wow, I had no idea that he was sick.
Just last week in Orlando, Mom and I were watching his show....I had only seen it a few times prior, but what a FUNNY man.
Too bad.
Life is TOO short.
OH, and I DID read gone with the wind...just much later.
And then I read the Scarlett book and recently the Rhett Butler book...I do love the old south stories...well except for the slavery. That part sucks old eggs.
Was so surprised to hear this today. I didn't know he was sick. He will be missed by many.
I was SO surprised to see this pop up on yahoo news as I opened my computer. So sad. What a life he led though.
Apparently he had an autoimmune illness that affects the lungs.... which made him more susceptible to pneumonia (which is what killed him). Pneumonia is sneaky .... I had it earlier this year and had NO CLUE I had it. I can see how it sneaks up on people (esp if you have an underlying illness that makes you "easy prey" for it....) Such a shame that there's not a vaccine that will PERMANENTLY prevent pneumonia. It kills so very many people. (It took one of my son's classmates last year - she was only 11 year old...) Very sad when that happened. We had long talks about death and he will still even ask me "Mom, what do you think Ashley is doing today in Heaven..." (always makes my eyes water a bit....)
