This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I think it's beautiful.
When we saw her in 1999 at Chastain Park in Atlanta, and she sang this, it was a blissful experience for me.

"Tigerlily" is her best solo effort.... and "Ophelia" is really good too (but a lot more melancholy than "Tigerlily".
I went through a phase where ALL I listened to was Natalie Merchant. Hubster used to kid me and call my car stereo "WNAT... All Natalie... All The Time..." :-)
I love that but by far, the gulf of araby is my favorite.
I love The Gulf of Araby too Amanda.... almost put that one up here as well.
