The Wild Wacky World of Google

According to Sitemeter, here are some search phrases that people have recently typed into search engines, like Google, that have directed them to my blog.....

  • "militant lesbians spiders"
  • "i miss my meth addict wife"
  • "wild party wife 3 AM"

Interesting. (I have a feeling all of those searches resulted in great disappointment to the searcher.... )

I always wonder if those kind of searchs are "for real" or just a joke. Some of them just blow me away.

awesome...one of mine the other day was "Viggo dream man" and they clicked on my blog, I believe because of the comment you made on there about sweet Viggo...I had to laugh.

D'Arce - that made me laugh out loud - Viggo IS a "dream man"!! He has yet to respond to my friend request on FaceBook, dammit!

That brings to mind how I originally found your blog. I mean we were COMPLETE strangers, but I did a Google profile search for other people who were reading Tim Keller's book The Reason For God.

I clicked on your profile and decided to leave a comment because I liked the name HappyWife HappyLife.

Plus, you had the song, "40" on your jukebox, and I had always wanted to hear that. (When I was in high school, my buds and I were in the state golf tournament. When we we got there the night before the tournament, they proceeded to quickly get drunk in the hotel room. One of them picked up a Gideon's Bible and started reading Psalm 40. He said, "It's just like the song." Which left me quite intrigued.)

Deron,
40 has always been a favorite song of mine (and a favorite Psalm). I really think U2 (and Bono in particular) has done a lot to bring God to people who otherwise would never even conceive of entering a church...
